  • How to find the best price for a stay in Hotel Monarc?

The best price is found on our website www.hotelmonarc.com or the one,confirmed by the hotel either by telephone or by email. On our site you will also find our special packages and updates.

 

  • What are the differences between the types of room?

Our spacious rooms are decorated identically. or detailed information please see our page Rooms. Our superior rooms, have a small seating area. Our family rooms with 2 separate bedrooms offer a lot of privacy and have on top of the spacious walk-in shower a freestanding bath.

 

  • How to reach the hotel if you arrive in the city of Ostend by train?

From the railway station of Ostend enjoy at once the benefits of our Invigorating sea air by walking along the seaside promenade to reach our hotel ( a walk of approx. 20 minutes).

The Coastal Tramway operates frequently and the stop KONINGINNELAAN (within 15 minutes) is just 4 minutes walking of our hotel. Or you can take a taxi ?

 

  • Which parking facilities are available at the hotel and in the surrounding area?

The Hotel MONARC has limited parking spaces – subject to reservation and surcharge – on a private covered car park 200 meters away. Paying parking in the Koningsstraat is also possible.For a complete overview, please refer to www.visitoostende.be/en/node/16860

 

  • How to reach downtown?

Downtown is a 3-minute walk away.

 

  • How to reach the promenade and the beach ?

Our location is very near to the promenade and beach, just around the corner, a few minutes walk away.

 

  • Is there a restaurant in the hotel? If not are there any restaurants nearby on walking distance ?

Start your day in style with a delicious buffet in the breakfast area. A wide variety of tasty daily fresh hot and cold options and extra's such as eggs or your favourite smoothies are available. Do not hesitate to mention any food intolerance or allergy, when booking. If weather permits, he outdoor terrace is the perfect spot to enjoy your breakfast or have a coffee or tea in the afternoon. We do not serve lunch or diner., however room service for snacks and drinks from the bar is available. The promenade and downtown, both with numerous restaurants are just a few minutes walk from the hotel Monarc. In our cozy lounge bar, you can enjoy your favourite drink.

 

  • What in case of late arrival?

This is no problem. We are always present. Our reception is open till 23h00. Please do notify us if you plan to arrive later. The day of arrival you will be provided of all necessary details to get access to the hotel.

 

  • What are the check-in and check-out times ?

Check out is at 11h30 and check in from 14h30.

There is the possibility to leave your luggage in our lounge at the reception area.

 

  • Are pets allowed ?

Although we love animals, we kindly ask you not to bring them.

 

  • What payment methods does Hotel Monarc accept?

We accept payment by bank card, credit card or cash.

 

  • Is there an elevator ?

There is an elevator. For your information, rooms are located on 4 floors.

 

  • Do you have facilities for my bike ?

From 1/5/2023 onwards, we will have a covered bicycle shed at your disposal.

You find there as well charging points for your e-bike, bike pump and a high pressure cleaner.I

 

  • Can we rent City-Bikes und Ebikes ?

From 1/5/2023 onwards, we can provide you with rental City-Bikes or E-Bikes. We will be happy to advise you about several cycling routes, that will take you to unique green spots in and around Ostend. Or make the trip on the dyke,along the seaside, to Westende (13 km) and 5 km further to Nieuwpoort, with its pleasant marina, the largest in Northern Europe.
